This is my late husband and not only is it a great likeness it really meant that once I got his face I wanted to put my own creativity on it . It was absolutely brilliant and I thought I will try a portrait of me too; again it's the face which is the hard bit, and I don't want it to be too contrived but allow me to be adventurous. The canvas is also better than any of the others and I like the size ..it doesn't loom large on the wall. So yes it's great; thank you!

Not knowing what to really expect, i was pleasantly surprised. I expected an almost animated copy of the photo, especially with the 24 count of paints, but the paint by number is definitely a realistic rendering.

Disappointed, mostly bc of my own expectation for the price... I thought there would be less/larger spaces since I only chose the standard 24 colors. There are a lot of spaces, though, that are so tiny, you can't read the number because it's crammed. The brushes provided are also not small enough for these tiny spaces.
As someone who can sometimes get lost among tiny details and overwhelmed, I would have preferred to have the majority of tiny and small spaces omitted to make the process more simple and enjoyable.
For anyone else who might struggle with this, I learned to think of the numbers and lines as guides instead. It's more fun now that I just squiggle along the lines and paint over the tiny spaces using the more dominant color in the area!
